Welcome to Advanced Dentistry, LLC, the practice of Corina Atanase, DMD. We specialize in family dentistry in the Chatham, Madison, New Providence, Summit, Berkeley Heights and surrounding areas.
Dr. Atanase is eager to help you feel at ease while addressing your dental needs, whether you are 4 or 94! With almost 20 years of experience and commitment to state-of-the-art dentistry in a comfortable, convenient and safe environment, we are sure to provide you the best possible dental care. We have a warm and friendly staff with years of experience, and look forward to making you feel like part of our family.
Dr. Atanase is also highly trained to help in the treatment of temporomandibular joint (TMJ) dysfunction and sleep apnea with oral appliances. We continuously work to create and maintain a warm and friendly atmosphere designed to make your next dental visit as easy as possible.

Corina Atanase, DMD
Dr. Atanase is committed to improving the quality of her patient’s treatments. She uses state-of-the-art technology and continues to attend seminars on various topics that improve the general and dental health of her patients. Aside from the aesthetic dentistry and functional dentistry advances, she has also obtained further training in the treatment of Temporomandibular Joint Disorders (TMJ) and Sleep Apnea with oral appliances.
During her free time, she enjoys hiking, biking, yoga, reading, and spending time with her family. She volunteers some of her free time with the Junior League of Summit where she has had great satisfaction of participating in some terrific projects to help the communities of Chatham, Summit, New Providence and Berkeley Heights. She is also a member of the ADA (American Dental Association), AGD (Academy of General Dentistry) and AASM (American Academy of Sleep Medicine).
Lena
Office Coordinator - Lena is most likely the first one you will encounter when you call or come to our office. Her friendly manner and proficient knowledge of the many facets of the office tasks, help to make your experience in our office a very enjoyable one. Having grown up in Summit and now a resident of Chatham, she knows a lot of our patients and will make you feel at home too!
Lisa
Clinical Coordinator and Dental Assistant Extraordinaire! Lisa joined Dr. Antonakos' practice in 1997 and has made the transition of our practices incredibly smooth! She is the behind the scenes person that helps Dr. Atanase, the hygienist, the receptionist and the patient so that your appointment is as efficient and comfortable as possible. Married with three children, she enjoys exercising, reading and spending quality time with her family.
Abbie , RDH
One of our talented hygienists, Abbie always has a smile to share. She is a caring, hard working hygienist who likes to explain and educate about all aspects of your oral and overall health. A married mother of 3 boys, she enjoys spending time with her family.
Dina , RDH
One of our caring dental hygienists, Dina is fun, outgoing and highly skilled in the management of periodontal treatments. She joined the practice in 2008 and, along with Abbie, helps coordinate our hygiene department. She is a married mother of 2 beautiful girls, enjoys exercising and spending time with her family. She always strives to put a smile on your face!
